Research fellows of the Networks, Technology & Innovation (NETI Lab), sister lab of ANET, presented their most recent findings at 2nd Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies online workshop 12 November 2020. First, Eszter Bokányi and Sándor Juhász discussed the effect of commuting on the structure and assortativity of online social ties, followed by Balázs Lengyel presenting on the role of geography in the complex diffusion of innovations (see paper out in Scientific Reports), and László Lőrincz exploring global connections and the structure of skills in local co-worker networks (see paper out in Applied Network Science). Rebeka O. Szabó closed out the session with a discussion on the composition and dynamics of problem-solving teams in escape rooms.
