Martin Novák is a physics PhD student at Eötvös Loránd University’s Material Science and Solid-State Physics PhD programme. He received both his BSc and MSc degree in physics at Eötvös Loránd University. His main field of research is particle accelerator design in the framework of a collaboration of CERN and MTA Wigner RCP. He joined the ANET group in 2019 May because of his genuine interest in network science and its applications. In the group, his work focuses on understanding the scaling properties of the spreading of social networks, and work on agent-based simulations of the Bass model to describe innovation diffusion.
