BIO

Luis Natera is an architect-network scientist focus on understanding cities from the complex system perspective.

He has earn a Bachelor in Architecture and Master in Communication of Science and Culture at the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Network Science from the Department of Network and Data Science at the Central European University. He was a visiting research fellow at Center for Civic Media at the Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before returning to academia to pursue his Ph.D., Luis gained experience working in the private and public sectors. His current research interest revolves around urban mobility in multiplex urban networks, bridging urban planning and complex systems.
