Before joining Aachen University, Johannes has been a PhD student at the Department of Network and Data Science at Central European University. He is a computational social scientist specializing in network methods. His dissertation is on corruption and collusion in public procurement markets. He is also interested in the use digital data to better understand concepts like novelty, bias, and success.
