Zoltán Elekes is the recipient of this year’s Excellent Young Regional Scientist Award of the Hungarian section of ERSA

Congratulations to Zoltán Elekes who is the 2019 recipient of the Excellent Young Regional Scientist Award of the Hungarian Regional Science Association (HRSA), the Hungarian section of ERSA, for his outstanding conributions to research and teaching. The HRSA launched the award in 2009 to recognise the work of young scholars under 35 in the field of regional science, and to draw attention to outstanding preformance and exemplary professional and community activity in the field. We are happy to say that out of eleven award recipients since 2009, two is working at the ANET Lab, as the founder and head of the Lab, Balázs Lengyel has also received the award in 2012.
